This individual workshop has been specifically designed for those who want to master light, composition, and visual narrative through direct, one-on-one guidance. The course is 100% in-person in Madrid. Since this is a customized training program, we’ll coordinate the meeting point and route based on your interests. We can hold the session in iconic areas for street photography (such as Madrid de los Austrias or Lavapiés), in modern architectural settings, or at specific locations that suit the type of lighting and compositions we want to practice.

• Your usual gear: Whether it’s an SLR, mirrorless, or compact camera (with manual controls) or, if you prefer to focus on mobile photography, your smartphone with a fully charged battery.

The course is taught by Martín Murcia, a professional photographer and founder of Espacio Fotográfico Madrid. With more than two decades of experience in visual storytelling, he approaches teaching with the warmth of a colleague, helping you not only to understand the camera’s controls but also to develop your own meaningful visual narrative.

No, not at all. Since this is a private lesson, we’ll tailor the class entirely to your starting point. If you’re starting from absolute zero, we’ll build a solid, clear foundation without unnecessary technical jargon. If you already have experience, we’ll skip the basics and focus directly on refining your technique, perfecting your composition, or delving deeper into editing and visual analysis.
